This article was very funny because i understood it perfectly. I mean ill tell you whats in my tabs right now; comedy central jokes, edmodo, the article and this blog page. one out of four isnt related to this class not bad... is it rotting my brain though? I hardly doubt it, the last time i looked at it was at 9:40, its 9:51. in eleven minuets I read the article, thought about it and posted this. So yes and no its a distraction.

I understand the need, arresting people as a means of deterrent is a bad idea. It lowers self esteem and not to mention long term harm. In jail... stuff happens. Like joining gangs, doing missions, ect. But, I feel that some cases are exceptions. Now Miss Layson, brought up an indecent where a kid brought a little toy soldier as depicted to school and got suspended apparently. Now that was a bit over kill, maybe a verbal warning would be better. Its out of proportion. As for the idea of using police as a figure as a reprimanding force could potentially be beneficial. Although long term fear for law enforcement might not be good.
